Minimalism is good, except when you have hobbies which require gear.
Before you know it you're room is filled with skis, surfboards and things which don't get used daily.
When you don't have a wardrobe it's nice to have everything tucked away that you are not using.
We basically made 4 big drawers which, together make up a bed base. Space them or join them depending on the size of the bed.
We found these cool little bearing flanges online - they are designed for luggage conveyor belts.
Unfortunately, we won't be selling these but thought we'd share it as it would be a good DIY project for the weekend!
Which also helps when you move houses and you don't have to carry a massive bedbase.
Probably not the best spot for our Hanging Drying Rack but I live in a small house!
